62 Repair Procedures Welch Allyn Propaq Encore Vital Signs Monitor

5. Use the nut driver to loosen and remove the hex post.

6. Lift the Digital board up and out of the front chassis.

7. Remove the 10-pin ribbon cable (cable from the Digital board to the Recharger board).

Note

The Digital board is connected to the EL display module by connector J1. This

connector should detach easily.

Caution Do not touch the button contact surfaces on the underside of the

Digital board. These surfaces must remain clean and oil-free. If you touch them,

clean them with a cotton swab moistened with isopropyl alcohol.
